This is a remarkable category to be using investment castings. When you see the detail that is produced from an original design from the 1800's and you are duplicating it exactly, it is truly amazing.

We typically start with a drawing or an original piece from an architect or designer/engineer. An example could be doorknobs or window latches from an historical building. The hand latch with triangle base plate that you see went into a famous theater.

We also have done the handle for the historic "Boston Post Cane". The "Ice Box Latch" that you see was supplied to a restoration firm that had a customer that needed just one antique ice box latch. NO PROBLEM.
